Note 8 to be Samsung’s most expensive Galaxy smartphone

South Korean manufacturer Samsung may launch its new flagship the Galaxy Note 8 in September which could be the most expensive Galaxy device the company has released to date.

The report, which comes from reputable leaker Evan Blass, suggests the company will release the Note 8 at a price of €999 that is more than $900 in the US market.

The Note line of phablets pack some of the most advance features and are powered by the highest internal specs available. The upcoming smartphone is rumoured to feature a larger 6.3inch curved display and powered by Snapdragon’s latest 835 chipset with 6GBs of RAM.

The leak, however, goes no to suggest Samsung has once again made the controversial choice of placing the fingerprint sensor on the same plane as the camera lens which will now have a dual camera setup each featuring a 12-megapixel sensor and independent optical image stabilisation.

Samsung will also be borrowing most of the features it released with the S8 which include DeX capability and virtual assistant Bixby.
