LAHORE – Renowned Pakistani actor Mikaal Zulfiqar has announced the end of his six-year long marriage with his wife Sara Bhatti.
“Wanted to say this for a while. Finally found the courage to do so. Sad to announce, unfortunately my marriage of 6 years has ended,” a post on Facebook stated.
Zulfiqar made the announcement on his Facebook account on Wednesday night stating, “Wanted to say this for a while. Finally found the courage to do so. Sad to announce, unfortunately my marriage of 6 years has ended. After a long separation and despite efforts from both ends, things could not be resolved, which has resulted in divorce”.
Mikaal and Sara were married six years ago and have two daughters.
Mikaal earned a name in television dramas including ‘Diyar-e-Dil’, ‘Intezaar’, ‘Sang-e-Marmar’, ‘Mann Pyasa’ among a variety of others. He has also performed in Bollywood films Shoot on Sight in 2008, U R My Jaan and Baby in 2015.
Tieing the knot in 2010, Mikaal and Sara have two beautiful daughters as well. Mikaal also shared this extremely touching picture with his daughters before announcing his divorce news.
